This one hit close to home today as I continue to try and find light at the end of the tunnel. I struggle someways with still feeling angry with God, but I know its only because I don't know his plan for us yet...thanks for this pastor Doug!

Hi Doug,
I enjoyed your words today and absolutely agree! I have a friend who could benifit greatly from the sermon on Sunday. How can I pick up a copy so she can listen? Thanks and God Bless!

I am reminded of this verse. Not only when we celebrate, work or grieve, but for any occasion is there better to be with someone else. For God also said in the beginning; Genesis 2:18 It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him.
Ecc.: 4:8-10 Two are better than one,
because they have a good return for their labor:
10 If either of them falls down,
one can help the other up.
But pity anyone who falls
and has no one to help them up.
We do have a great community!

I have read all of your blog post since we spoke through email a couple of weeks ago, i have to say even though there is nothing sad about this post, it brought me to tears. I felt lost (and sometimes still do), but i have to still keep my faith. Thank you, you have done much more for me then you know...

Well done Pastor Doug. I hope to be on my motorcycle tomorrow re-filling that cup. I had a similar week, but know that I will hear Him say one day . . . "Well done my good and faithful servant".

You are a difference maker for the King.

Being apart of the boys of fall was something none of us will ever forget and having a community behind us was a blessing. No better feeling than running out onto Ford Field knowing there is a community behind you. God blessed our town very much that fall. God is good.
