Children’s Ministries
Welcome to Hero HeadQuarters! Excitement and skill-building await as kids sign up for super challenges and fun! Each day at Hero HQ, kids will participate in the large-group music, drama and fun where kids will be introduced to some unnamed, yet amazing heroes from the Bible. After kids experience the other activities of the day, they’ll gather back at Hero HQ to review, be encouraged and be challenged to join forces with God!
Other sites include: Amazing Bible Heroes where kids will experience the Bible story, then talk about ways to be heroes for God; Power projects where kids will create service or craft projects and then read and listen to stories of real-life kid heroes; and Action Games where kids will play and have fun together. Each day, superhero Maintenance Mac will challenge Water Woman, Pizza Man and the kids to join forces with God! The challenges will help kids do the unexpected, take action, step out on faith, save the day and stand for truth! Mac, Water Woman, Pizza Man and Super Cooper are waiting! Don’t miss this exciting, challenging, super-fun VBS program! Get kids ready to be heroes-in-training today! Sign up now by clicking the link below or calling the church office at 655-3668!

Our mission for children who come to our programs is to:
Lead them to believe in and know God;
To bring believers to have a deeper, closer relationship with God; and
Teach them how to share God’s love with others.
We offer a great variety of programs for children from newborn through 5th grade. All of our classrooms are lead by caring, wonderful volunteers who are fully devoted to sharing the Gospel. During Sunday School and Worship hour (11:00 service) we offer a nursery for newborns thru 2 years or potty trained. We also have classes for school age children. Children are placed in groups according to grade. We have a class for 3′s, 4′s & young 5′s, a class for Kindergarten, 1st grade, a class for 2nd & 3rd and a class for 4th & 5th. Every Sunday, lessons are taught with hands-on activities, stories, and songs.

Come join us! All children in Kindergarten through 5th grade won’t want to miss the NEW Jr. Church! We will all meet in “The Intersection” room 110 and have an AWESOME time of worship. During this time children will sing songs, take offering and take part in an interactive Bible lesson taught by Peggy Weiss or Sheri King. Children will be able to take part in all aspects of a service and have the opportunity to serve by being a greeter, taking attendance, leading motions to songs during praise time, being ushers or helping set-up/clean-up.
“LIFE, it’s not just a game.” Inspired from the biblical verse 2 Corinthians 5:17, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; and a new life has begun!” Exclamation point!!! So be prepared for playing camp life “BIG”!Each week is jam-packed with lots of “BIG” games and activities because one of our goals is to give each camper the best and most memorable week of their life. We also strive to make our daily chapels both fun and spiritually dynamic by having great speakers and a fantastic worship team. These camps are DEFINITELY an investment in fun and faith.One of the parents has told us – “Going to camp is the highlight of their summers! They look forward to it as soon as they register! We are thrilled to hear about all the “fun” they have! But we are also so thankful that the camps are MORE than that. The boys can’t stop talking about how each summer their lives were changed!”Camps are available for students entering 2nd grade through 12th grade! Camp dates and registration information can be found on the Covenant Hills Website!
